(still a WIP)

Hey Guys! long time member, first time posting! this past summer I made a Shocker costume with my own take on his character design. here are a few pics of my costume. i meant to take some build process photos, but it took me so much time and effort to get this done in time for the con, i forgot. I will post up some more as i've gotten pretty decent at some builds, and would like to do more. I hope you guys enjoy, and I appreciate the feedback so that i can get better!

I had to adjust the lenses on the mask when i actually started wearing it by unfortunately putting them outside because I LITERALLY couldn't see where i was going, i'll redo them to inside to make it look a little smoother. the quilted padding is worn UNDER the brown base layer, and slits are cut down the sides to expose it. i'll open it up more, as I continue to work on it

The Gauntlets house a large bicycle LED that runs on 3 AA batteries. rewired them to a pressure trigger located near my thumbs. hold button down, light on/release, light off

ACTION! LOL i fought every spiderman cosplayer i could find! i will update this costume as i go, because it is a WIP

Excited to finally see another Shocker build. The mask and the gauntlets look great, but to be honest I think you used too much brown and not enough quilted yellow.
Also,I would leave out the lenses.Just my 2 cents

yeah, i want to open up the brown a bit more as well, i was running out of time, so i ended there with the slits on the side, and the v on the chest. i want to make it a deeper V, and maybe put a panel of some sort on the back. what do you think? And i think i wanted the lenses so it looked more like it was made from a welding mask, and made it look more sinister.

As i'm sure you know, the shocker built all of this in a prison workshop, so i was trying to make it look as "workshop-y" as possible.
