For the last couple of days i been trying to re-create the envelope in wich Marion mailed to Mutt.I think i'm finished and it looks like it came out pretty well :thumbsup.I compared the screengrabs as close to the original as i could and worked alot of things in photoshop for many hours to give it a real look.My next to do is tackle Marions letter :love.I just want to shout out "Charlie" ,"Alphered6","Harryford Jones" and "Dccooper" over at the COW for all there help

Please don't ask where i got any images for the envelope due to the respect of the names i mentioned above :cool

Looks great, Pitbull! Do you plan to weather it any more? It might just be the pictures, but it seems like the original had some more creases/folds/wrinkles. Even still, yours is superb. :)

Any chance of there possibly being an offering of these in the junkyard? :angel I know I'd be in for one.

i really didn't get into the weathering part of it yet i did crinkle it a bit wich is hard to see on the pic but it's there.I will not be offering this in the junkyard this is just for my own personal enjoyment :cool. Thanks for the compliments

the stamps i had to track down myself since no one would post them over there... took me forever.... and i made the letter too....and all but the outline of the envelope.
the postmark i made myself as well.. its not perfect, but not too bad.
its a lot more wrinkled than it appears....

Looks good ufo you see the problem for me was getting the stamps to there exact color and detail as the original envelope.I made my circle ink stamp as well and it was a pain in the ( )( ) :lol.I still have more work to do with minor accuracy's but all in all i'm happy with it.My next project is Marions letter i see you did one and looks good,i just want it to be as screen accurate as possible.

no man... not you... i was reffering to some other folks. apologies for making you think it was you i was talking about. :)

no it's cool just making sure. i myself didn't understand why it was such a secret in the first place :confused.I'm doing my envelope as one big printable image with everything on it.I like your circular ink stamps better than mine so i'm gonna use yours instaed of mine :love.Once i'm done i will have no problem sharing with rpfers :thumbsup

yea, i made the envelope as a whole image too, with everything on it, printed it out, then printed it our again, cut the labels and stamps out of it, weathered them a little, and stuck them on the envelope. it worked perfect for placement, plus, it has a nice textural difference when actually handeling it, and the raised images gives shadows a little, and curled edges here and there, which add depth.

Cool i'm actually gonna try that technique cutting out the stamps and such.As far as marions letter there has to be a way to clean this up with a white background and keep all the text as is
