So here's this...Yes, I know its too small. Yes, I am keeping it that way, I actually like this size better...makes a little more sense for mobility and it is still an ominous huge badass shoulder guard.
Proportional changes occur in every Spartan costume anyway. The helmets are always too large, and the legs too short because a real human has to fit inside. So even if that shoulder is inaccurately small, it looks great anyway.
I like it, Too much bulk never befits a human, unless EVERYTHING is over bulked, then it's gears of war like and just flows right, but it looks REALLY good, so don't worry about it
Attempting the reach operator helmet in foam tonight, anybody have any tips on how to make seemless contoured parts for the smooth, curved top portion of the helmet? I see lots of seemless iron man helmets, just wondering how you figure out what shape to cut to avoid seems....
i should have most of this helmet done by now. but no, i don't. my printer crapped out while i was at work today. i have everything i need to build, but i can't print the stencils. starting to worry about my deadline...
almost done, except for the goggles part, just need to finish under the chin...
scale looks good...
also, the seems on the dome are pretty much flush, after plasti-dip and primer, they shouldn't be visible at all...
