My Reach Spartan Armor WIP

Taking a break from the thigh issue, which I pretty much have under control...
I knocked this out this morning, foam cod. The pieces are attached to a 2" wide elastic waistband with a parachute clip via a belt-loop kind of structure. Very comfortable, flexible, easy to put on/take off, and fits PERFECTLY.
i have to fill in the hole with the 'x' over it, messed that up...
hopefully get it painted tonight...

There is no Halo movie.
Forward Unto Dawn? They did release it as a full feature DVD...and there is also the Legends DVD...

Today's update...
Really happy how the cod turned out, I got it painted today, will weather it tonight with dirty paint water...
also finished the knife today, will probably attach it the torso with velcro...
Thats all for now, will try to knock out one of the remaining pieces tonight...

Figure out how to attach all the boot pieces...THATS IT! FINALLY GONNA FINISH THIS THING!!!
and if I have time before supercon, I will spruce up the undersuit a little...

That's not "the movie" though. That's more like an online TV series. You could have also meant Halo Legends, which is another DVD, but it's also not a movie. It would be like if I said I have the Matrix movie, and whip out a copy of The Animatrix.

Ok Red4, thanks for clarifying that the blueray dvd i own is not a 2 hour movie yet a 2 hour TV series which presents itself like a movie lol. Lets not piggyback on chefs great thread any further. However, thanks for the update buddy :thumbsup
Made great progress this weekend, completed both thighs and the UA/CHOBHAM thigh attachment (which I scratch-built). Unfortunately, I'm tired and lazy tonight so I'll have to post pics tomorrow...
All that's left after that is one shin, the grenadier knees, and assembling the boots (already made all the boot pieces)....almost done!

Great job man. I finally finished my armor too. Hope your still going to SuperCon, I def need some Halo cosplay brethren to be there lol.
Of course I'm still going, I can't wait to show this thing off! I am definately going to be there open to close on Saturday, not sure about the other days yet...
Anyway, I finished the vinyl panels on the inner thigh last night, they look great. Flexible and very comfortable. I should be able to knock out the grenadier knees tonight after work, then I'll post some pics for you guys. I am so stoked over how this thing turned out, I cant believe I'm finally finishing it!
