My Raimi suit replica (In progress)

So I haven’t actually made a thread before and am new to this replica prop making world but I figured I’d document how I’m making my Raimi spiderman build

The parts I’m using is Kens Raimi pattern and I have purchased the urethane webbings from AegidiusDesigns and the face shell from Animated costume the shoes are just some dress shoes from Walmart that were the right shape and $25 I still need to get a mannequin and make the muscle suit while I wait on the webs, suit, and face shell to arrive I am open to suggestions on anything you guys think would make the suit look better

Make sure to grab some red soling rubber if you haven’t already to put on the outside of the feet to give that clean, movie accurate look.

Okay so update but the face shell makers Etsy disappeared and I haven’t gotten a response from him all week so I bought the spidey4fun faceshell from Brad as a backup plan I hope it will arrive soon as I am very impatient

Okay so the pattern is great but with some glaring flaws the shading on the blue isn’t exactly how I’d like and so I have found a pattern I plan on buying and creating a new suit using that instead

I was also considering using the printcostume route to create a suit since I'm very new to all of this stuff. How was the actual quality/any complaints about printcostumes work on the suit? And if you don't recommend this pattern what would you recommend? Thanks.

Print costume is pretty great when it comes to fabric and sew quality don’t get the upgrade on the fabric tho if you are going with white spandex stick to the default fabric I am waiting on my colored spandex suit so I will post when that arrives, If the suit turns out how I want it the pattern will be the color fabric spiderman 2 pattern by insomnia.cbr on Instagram

So basically my webs are stuck in shipping limbo where usps says my package isn’t in their system yet even tho they tried to drop it off and for whatever reason couldn’t find my address so until I get that figured out I also ordered Brad at spidey4funs webbing today as a backup and honestly I’ll just use his for the main suit and the first webbing I bought for the as I am now calling it the “ken landrum suit” as the ken suit will use his default pattern and web files

Well the webs based on ken landrums files came in today pretty great for a budget option as it was only 190 in total will be great for what I’m subbing the landrum suit
