My Propworx Iron Man winning came today :) PICS

I scored one of two IronMonger screen used prototype helmets. These were filmed and were supposed to be in the final cut, but Jon Favreau decided at the last minute he didn't want them so he CG'd over these in the movie. I was able to talk to the artist who painted them for the film at Winston studios and got some good 411 on it. Mine is the SFX helmet which they had lined with squibs for bullet shots. Thanks for sharing the helmet and behind the scenes production pics. It's so cool to have such solid provenance! Hope to see it on the DVD special features.

that's really cool. according to the "art of" book, they were designing around the Mandarin as the villain. one of the concepts looked similar. I guess they made the change well after pre/production started.
the guy in the photos looks like someone that graduated a couple quarters ahead of me. John Cherevka ? from what I saw of his school portfolio, very talented.

It would be cool if sideshow got the rights to release that iron monger maquette like they did with the 1:2 iron man.
