So simple but a cracking little addition to display next to the flute. I love it!

Thanks guys :) I too love trying to come up with ideas for props from things I have just lying around the house, or little cost. I must say they are the ones that give me most satisfaction to display :thumbsup

Re: My Prop Replica Collection - New Arrival - Star Trek Voyager (Small Build)

Here's one I've not seen before, so I decided to make one.

Commander Chakotay's Medicine Wheel from Star Trek Voyager. This prop was seen very well in the episode "Cathexis".

I looked around as much as humanly possible for an image of this and there was nothing :(

Spent almost 3 days on Photoshop doing this from screencaps and a very low res image of the original prop that was sold through Christie's.

Impossible to make full size, but I made me some nice stones to go with it :)

This is the full view of it :

And a close up.

Here's the image I had to work with (actual size :lol)

The stones started up in life as aquarium pebbles, which I etched and then painted.

And here's what I came up with.

For one who has just joined this site, I have found the perfect encouragement for prop collecting/repoduction in your impressive displays. I commend you and look forward to any new updates that I'm sure will come.

Thanks folks :).

I found a 'before' pic of the Medicine Wheel stones that was lurking in a corner of my memory card :lol .

Updated my previous post accordingly, and also posted the original image I had to work with.

..... and once I'm here, the ball-chain for Eline's Probe Pendant arrived :)

Re: My Prop Replica Collection - New Arrival - Space Cowboys

Thank you Chuck, my pleasure :)

Just putting this here from the 'build' thread.

Tank Sullivan's (James Garner) Dashboard Dancing Hula Girl from 'Space Cowboys'.

I shortened the Lei by 2 flowers, and I think it looks much more accurate now.

Thank you PotionMistress and Chris :)

PM, that is going nowhere near my bedside table though. We have a cat, and that's worse than a 2 year old :lol
