My Predator Busts (Pic Heavy)

Here are some pictures of my two predator masks which have been foam filled with two parts soft foam. They are made of latex but after the addition of the foam, dreads and beads they weigh over 30lbs each.

Wow those look fantastic. Foam filling latex masks is a great idea. How much do masks like that cost if you dont mind me asking? Did you use fake eyes or paint them?

They are very expensive around 500 for a painted mask and above, the dreads, bread beads, quills, neckring, and stands are all separate also. So after all that the 1,000 dollar mark has been met:cry but they are very cool and huge. And unlike sideshow's busts (which are great) these are usually painted much better since they are not mass produced but individually painted by the artist and not rushed. The eyes on both are painted but you can get very close to them and they still look like glass eyes. Yeah foam filling helps them to keep there shapes and give them weight and make them more solid, and if these were to ever be worn the foam can easily be removed. :thumbsup

Well I received my Predator 1 bust today. It is taken from the original Stan WInston mold. It still needs dreads, beads and quills but otherwise is completed. It has custom made glass eyes installed. Here are some teaser pictures. I will post completed pictures in the future.
