Thanks! I think I can say that yours will be looking better than mine, but this was the first time I've done a prop, and it's not 100% accurate as it's for a video, and doesn't need to be as detailed. I got my acrylic from
estreetplastics.com. I reccomend getting it longer than the portion you see on the gun. I.E. if 6 inches are exposed, get it 8-10 inches long.
As far as the core portion, get this plunger and use the handle.

Ok, I think I'm this update, and two more away from the final gun. I was going to wait until I had the claws on, but I decided to go ahead and post another pic as it was looking nice outside and I rigged up a crude stand for the gun.
I had a lot of problems with the paint on the bottom casing lifting as I wasn't very familiar with the paint I was using. All the problems I've had with the gun have been on the right side thankfully, so I can just angle the camera so that if you do see that side, it's far away.

All that is left is wiring of the LEDs, attaching the claws, and rigging up some sort of device to go in the light socket and front barrel. Oh, I have to glue everything together also and add the decals.
