Long time reader, first time poster here, you know the deal.
Anyway, I've been so impressed with my newest Indy hat, I wanted to share a few pics and give a mini-review.
These shots were all taken in "The Village" on my recent trip to Great Britain (The Village too is every bit a prop in its own right, just not one you could replicate). I've owned more than my fair share of Indy fedoras over the last couple of years, and I gotta say, my Penman here is the most screen accurate raiders hat I have ever seen in terms of block shape, construction, and ribbon/bow work. I've worn it pretty much non-stop over the past 2 months that I've had it in all types of weather and it's held up like a tank - as you would expect for an Indiana Jones hat. For anyone looking for a SA Raiders lid, the Penman should be at the top of your list. Especially for a custom hat of this caliber, the wait time (3 months exactly) and price can't be beat. I simply can't recommend John's work enough.
I also had John turn one of my older Indy hats into a Watchmen Rorschach which I am every bit as pleased with.
