My OST Jack Sparrow Project

Been busy and MIA from RPF for awhile, so I thought I'd post some progress pics.

Got another ACME sash, the new one is wider than my original! Thanks again Richard for all your help!

Updated the Trade Strand to OST solid black bead.

Made the wood ring with brown thread wrap on the dread with crossed up twine wrap. I think it came out cool. It started as a red plastic ring bead. I painted it, weathered it, and wrapped it with the thread.

I also added the correct Gems N Knots bead to Cristian's Zombie Finger and re-threaded it. I ordered some gold leafing for the tooth, but it hasn't arrived yet. I'll post some pics when it's finished and attached.

Here's what I still want to do with the wig -

1. Better sea coin

2. Better Moracoan dangle

3. Better red lampwork bead

4. Better dread cuff

Any suggestions are much appreciated too, thanks!

Richard at ACME made me an OST Flower belt and shipped it yesterday, so I think my costume is ready to try on and take some pics too!

BTW - Except the skull ring, they all SUCK. Richard where are you when a 6'6" Jack needs rings? I also need to dye my pants the correct color for OST.

Amazing build, keep up the good work. lol I know the feeling about money, mine is not even half as accurate as yours and its costing a pretty penny.. :/ lol I hope to work on parts and make better before Halloween.

Looks great so far, the only thing I dont see is your mum hanging from your belt. Personally I like swag arts new version.

OI OI OI! Unless you did a self portrait and we are seeing your opposite the bitter ends of the belts should be on the right side, savvy? Also hike them belts up a little higher meaning the flower belt should be slightly above your belly button.

Looking good mate! I see what you were saying about the breeches color. You may be able to just and a tinge of brown just to get it less grey.

Yeah I need to do a little Jack manscapeing for sure! LOL I threw this all on to just get a pic because I had someone here to take one of me. I know I need to adjust stuff better once geared up, which takes longer than I expected!

AWEsome build, one of the best - you'll be shivering timbers this May for sure. Wish I could help you find the other stuff - that dread cuff is the elusive unicorn. Capn_Jack_Savvy used to have Sea Coins, otherwise I have a link to a cast metal one (unpainted) on the wiki.
