My new STXI prop

Ok, I'm not positive what this is exactly but it is the prop shown on the Bridge on the workstation of Sulu and Checkov. Do you guess it is a retina scanner or scanning device?

It is the exact model used in the movie, and it fills a hole on my STXI display shelf.

Yup, it's a barcode scanner, Cyclone M2004 (or one of the variations) made by Symbol Technologies.
