as the title says: I do have some new friends at home. These are fully functional puppets.
And it´s a great fun to play with them. Next will be Ernie.
It seems like I need some kids of my own, right now and have to move to Sesame Street. Does anyone know where this is??? :unsure:lol:lol:lol

So, Did you make Ernie and Cookie or did you buy them? If you bought them would you please tell us from where?
They look great!!!

Thank you guys,:cool

although I started making muppets, I didn´t make these myself.
I let make Kermit and Cookie monster by oliver´s creature shop and Bert by Land of puppets

FYI, Oliver's Puppets is about the 50th pseudonym for a banned RPF member. He is notorious for listing his illegal Muppet replicas on ebay, having his auctions pulled by ebay for copyright violations, then simply relisting under a new name. I stopped keeping score years ago, but by the time I stopped tracking him, he had listed under new names over 35 times on ebay in less than two years. BTW, Land of Puppets and Oliver's CS are the same person.

I'm glad you're happy - many people have had trouble receiving their goods from him.

"TheatreOfPuppets has been banned for creating sockpuppets (bataholic and hammerbuff), used to artificially bump his threads and praise his products. A third one had also been registered but not approved."

i never knew there was such a muppet underworld was going on.

I hope I am not "in the wrong" by asking, but were these exspensive to have done? I have seen the oliver´s creature shop on ebay selling puppets for over $1000.00. I would love to get a few, but not for that price. I was hoping maybe they make them cheaper off Ebay??
I also noticed they post pictures on their auction pages, but do not sell them. They advertise "custom puppets" and give their web address. I guess they finally found a way around selling illegal items on Ebay. It is not illegal to post a photo, and they are technically not selling the piece in the photo, just advertising themselves. But we all know what they mean, so in a way it is still a "round-about" illegal act, lol.

Anyway, great items... congrats on the great score. I am envious!!!

BTW, he is one of several defendants named in a copyright infringement law suit by Disney, who owns the Muppets. Note that he no longer features photos of replicas of the classic Muppets that Disney now owns (Kermit, Piggy, etc). Now he just shows replicas of Sesame Street characters, which are owned outright by Sesame Workshop. That's because Sesame Workshop has a wimpier legal department than Disney, and he can get away with it more often!

For a hand-crafted puppet, they are not expensive.

But trafficking with him is not in keeping with the basic principles of RPF membership - he was banned here, and you really shouldn't do business with him. He's not a hobbyist, making contributions to the art - he's a profiteer, attempting to professionally sell ripoffs of other people's intellectual property on a wide scale. And he's got ongoing legal action against him, so my advice would be to steer clear!
