Hi all. I had so many PMs on various parts of this on going build I thought I’d post a build thread. First up the top.

The general consensus is that it’s made from the spray end (top) of a BOC Seltzer bottle so look for 1 of these.

Unscrew the top and take off all of the hardware. It unscrews pretty easy. The small post that holds the silver flip cover will need to be removed by hammering out the rivet with a metal punch.

It will look like this.

Now you will need to saw or dremel off the downspout.

That’s it for this part for the moment.

For those looking to build one I have identified the side piece used on Hans Build. It is BOC Charger Bulb Holder. It is apparently a rare type. It may have come with SOME Hostmaster Mk3 Soda Syphons. I’ve purchased 5 of this exact type though the years and none matched this one.

Here is a comparison.

Another great discovery this time courtesy of mgoob . Besides being a great prop maker he works in a hospital, and about 2 years ago, on the floor with 25 operating rooms, he saw the correct hose: a 7/8" Smoke Evacuation Hose. I don't want to say what its used for but usually you can only purchase in bulk or individually for $50 ish a piece. Not only did he identify the screen accurate hose but he found a great source. We both ordered from the site and received what we ordered. Get em while you can at $12 a piece and it gives you enough to make 2 hoses.

After a brief Mando build break I thought it time to continue this second more accurate build.

Next up is building the main body and attaching the BOC connector and a way to attach the hose.

I fill the inside of the spritzer top with PC-7 2 part epoxy. A little on the bolt of the bottom. Combine, line up tape until dry.

Here is a look at how I attach the BOC connector. I reinforce the connection point with a metal bit just in case the hose gets pulled.

I found a decent part for the top knob. I was cutting something with a large exacto knife and what do you know.

Fixed a thumbtack in the top and some glue and bingo.
