No, not me..the Wife! (thank goodness).
My wife really dove in to this hobby with me and I am ever so thankful. She's only been doing this since 2009 but has supported the time it takes, the venues, the costs--even with a 17 month old little one--I feel very fortunate. With my Captain America project she has been excited to pounce on a character that would compliment Cap--alas, we weren't satisfied with the readily available female costumes.
We then came across this person's original costume --of whom was pictured in many a Comicon photo last year

My wife loved her take and we have tried to figure out who this person is so that we could give her mad props and emulate her costume. It's a great, sexy 'pin-up' look of the WWII era and it rocks!
Anyway, I went to work putting together a costume based on the design. My brother cut out a shield out of aluminum , sanded (no rough/sharp edges) and then handed over to me to paint. It's very light weight--easy to carry around and straps nicely to her garand belt suspenders. I found a helmet at my local surplus store, sanded and painted it blue and added the 'A' with a quick tape stencil. I ordered the missing liner and chin straps and added them on when they arrived.
We purchased a white, leather underbust corset, taped it off and painted the red stripes with leather paint (Nu lite is fantastic paint by the way)
Got her leggins off of Ebay and the silver fabric star patch came from my Avengers Captain suit that I removed.
Anyway, here's the end result.
Not an original of ours (to be clear) but Boy...my wife loves it
