Now... if I could just get past the issue of the flat lenses(ep3 issue, not MR, I know) I may get one...

I REALLY hope MR comes out with an ANH version(no symmetry discussion, please ;))...

Great pics. Thanks for sharing. :)

And do we have a satisfied customer?????....it certainly seems that way. :D .
Glad you are happy with it..
Shame on you for missing a perfect "reflectoporn" opportunity(I'm not explaining ...you'll have to Google it :angel )

LOL... Yeah, this helmet is way too reflective to be snappin pics in your birthday suit...........LOL.

I am very happy with it. There are some very very minor imperfections, but nothing I can't live with. In general, the helmet is a pretty perfect example.

You'll notice irregularity on the trimming in the slots on the spaces between the "teeth".................I swear you don't see them in person like you do in those pics... You have to hold it a very particular way to even notice it.

The two criticisms I have is that the neck piece, though it's pretty........doesn't somehow sit flush with the facemask. Mine has a noticeable space on each side and one side has more space than the other. It's far too "loose" in it's connection. The other is that vader's right tusk was trimmed at a weird angle and the tusk tip sits up a bit too far. Nothing I can't fix of course. Neither of these things really take away from my enjoyment of this new "precious"

Dave :)

Now THAT'S what I'm talkin' 'bout.

Nice pix Dave. :thumbsup ...

I've asked this of others...but how do you find the thickness of the cast? Also, can you tell if there's a clear on top of the paint?

SHWEEET.

Would make a great ROTJ Vader Reveal :love

are the lenses flat???

they look less bubble-ey but they dont look flat like an ANH stunt TK...

Yes they are flat. There is a curve to the entire eye from side to side..........but top to bottom completely flat. The pics give the illusion of a "domed" appearance I think.

Dave :)

Whoa...very nice pics vaderdarth. Fantastic. I recieved mine and it had some minor scratches due to shipping. MR is taking care of me though. :) All in all this helmet is simply badass....:)

Carl

I would actually like to see it next to one of your other Vader helmets, Vaderdarth....I'm keen to see the relative differences in the faceplate size versus the dome size....either the ROTS dome is bigger or the faceplate is smaller than the OT Vaders....perhaps for another thread but still would be nice to see :D. The finish is striking....I actually like an all black helmet...

:cheers,

Thomas
