My Micronauts Props

[Force Commander]

My daughter saw these on the wall in my studio and asked me if I had posted these here. I don't believe I have, so here they are. The Glider Pack was primarily cut on a sign making router. The finishing touches were printed on my 3D printer. It still needs some touch up work and I haven't decided if I will paint it. If I were good at weathering techniques, I would do that. The Lasersonic pistol was printed entirely on my 3D printer and still needs some sanding, etc., but I am please with it. It has a blue laser in it that fires when the trigger is pulled. There is a spring on the trigger, but it isn't as strong a spring action as I'd like, so that needs to be addressed. Finally, there is the Acroyear sword. The buttons are static, but I am happy with the hilt. The blade is another story. I am thinking I will appropriate a suitable blade from a toy sword somewhere along the way. If not that, I may make one with layered styrene sheets.

Very cool. Loved the Micronauts before becoming brainwashed by Star Wars.

Yes, they will extend out, but aren't, of course, spring loaded.

Love the glider pack! I had the figure as a kid. I remember the rocket parts of the toys were all glued in so they couldn't shoot. Lol.....very cool stuff there.
