My Magnoli tie at DW Live!

Last week, me and the family went to see the stage show, Doctor Who Live and what a great night we all had!! The music was simply amazing and all the performers put on an amazing show...Matt Smith's part (via a large screen) was great too! It was great seeing the reaction from my daughter as several different Who monsters came near her. I've been lucky enough to work on the tv show, and seen them in action but to share this night with my family was fantastic!!

The best part of the night was when we were leaving the arena and literally bumped into the show's conductor, the legendary Doctor Who/Torchwood musical director/arranger Ben Foster!! He stopped for a chat, told my daughter she looked 'cool' in here Fez, signed our show programme and posed for a photo!! A truly nice, and very talented person.

Here's the photo and as you can see, it was the perfect evening to wear my Magnoli DT tie....which Ben Foster said he loved!!

Thanks to Risu and Indy for this great tie!!! I love it!!

That's awesome! I have to see if there will be a show playing sometime when I'm over there. The tie looks great, too. (I still haven't gotten mine yet, so I'm envious)

Glad you had a great night, i worked on the Daleks, cybermen and judoon for that show at millenium fx. was realy hard work with very tight deadlines. glad to know it went down well. hope to catch the show myself at some point. lovely tie too.

Hi Chris,

Great tie, didn't know you were a 'Who' fan.

I went to the show in Cardiff last Saturday, it was absolutely fantastic!

Thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the 'Blink' sequence.

We also met Ben Foster, what a generous talented person that man is!

I thought everyone worked really hard and pulled in an amazing show for both young and old kids. :lol

Piehead, wow that must have been amazing working on those creatures.

Cheers,

Andy

Clanger, yeah was awsome to work on that, had the constant urge to run round the shop shouting exterminate hahaha. realy though ive been a lifelong fan of the show, if you told me when i was a kid that i would be helping build the things that scared me most i would never have believed it had a lot of long hours, hard work and worked with a very talented crew to bring i all to life. just great to know you guys are enjoying the show and it was all worth it. cant wait to see it now.
