My Lifesized Homemade Chucky

Hello Everyone, I always wanted my own chucky and figured Why not make one. I'm pretty good at drawing and painting so I Figured working with clay can't be too hard. Here's some pics start to hopefully soon finish

Here's a pic of it fresh out of the plaster mold. I used Ultracal 30. I then airbrushed it using Latex base mixed with acrylic. I applied the thread for his stitches after I painted him I just made casts of his legs and will be working on his torso tomorrow.

What are you plans for the clothing? The sculpt came out great.

Thank you! I'm making the clothes from scratch. I bought some denim and sweater material at a local fabric store. I purchased some fabric paint and dye and I'm applying it with and Airbush gun. I'll make custom stencils for all the little emblems on his overalls. I have some experience with airbrushing clothes so it should be pretty fun. The shoes I'm going to sculpt around his feet once I've made the latex legs. Then make a cast of them.

Lol holy **** I'd not have that around my house... it looks too ****ing real. I'd throw it out.

Lol thanks! I've been thinking about adding more eyelid to his left eye. as of now he has a menacing wide eyed stare. It'll bring out the exposed right eye a bit. But I don't want to take away too much of the psychotic look. Opinions on that from any of you great artists are welcome

I just want to add that this site is amazing. The amount of people here with such astounding talent has shown me I still have room for improvement, yet It's inspired me to keep going!

The likeness is fantastic. :thumbsup

Good hair work will bring him to life.

Thank you, I got a great deal on a couple of Halloween wigs a fabric store was trying to get rid of. 4 wigs at $2.50 each. The color is perfect! I'm going to disassemble them and glue the tracks on. The front hairline and eyebrows I'm going to punch in.

An update on It's progress. I have the leg molds fully cleaned & the latex is curing right now. I Will post pics of the pull. In the meantime I'm going to clean up the torso a bit then cast it. Hopefully tonight after work.

Are you going to cast some up and sell any?

I plan to make copies because I read molds don't last forever. If someones interested I'd be willing to make more. But honestlys is my first time doing something like this so apart from charging for the materials I'm not sure on pricing yet.
