my latest ebay super bargain! (spiderman mask)

bought this on ebay a couple of weeks ago, for 7p!!! (yes £0.07!) from a seller in china. as it was so cheap i didnt expect much (if anything :lol) but was really pleasantly surprised, its pretty well made, lycra, with a zip in the back (not that its needed as the mask stretches over my head), the only thing i'd criticise about it are the lenses, you can see my eyes through them and if i was getting really picky some of the webbing lines dont line up with the back of the mask, but again, for 7p i'm really pleased with it

Not to sound too snobbish but this board has a tendency to see things in a higher standard than that mask represents.

But for 15¢, I'd say you got a bargain.

i dont think the whole board thinks like that, i've seen some pretty shoddy looking replicas on here, but its each to their own, thats the fun of props! dont get me wrong though, i also have a high standard when it comes to replicas, i have a lot of screen accurate stuff (stormtroopers helmets, jango fett, iron man), machined lightsabers and loads of other stuff, but i also love a good bargain and the mask isnt THAT bad, its not supposed to be like the movie one, more the cartoon style and again, it was 7p!!

i know me too thats the main problem with it, but for 7p i cant really complain i've just ordered the suit from the same guy, for £6 wont be good enough for costuming (i'm not into that anyway) but should look ok on a mannequin i have found what looks like a screen accurate suit, but its £500, so quite a lot more expensive! (no doubt 500 times better, but for now my cheapo one will do )

update, my full suit from the same guy arrived today! it cost me £6 (about £15 shipped), i'm really impressed with it though as with the mask, its not movie quality (but i didnt expect it to be), its more a cartoon/comic version, again the only problems really are the webbing lines dont match up and the eyes can be seen through, but for a mannequin display it should look good. of course i had to try it on though....
