My large x wing prop build ☺

ive stuck my r2d2 head i have here off my droid onto the x wing i will have to sort myself another head from somewhere else possibly even slightly smaller. it doesn't half look quality though eh !
more angles are still to come plus last gun still to go on as well.

other potential detailing to the rear during 2019 too

Awesome sight for sore eyes! Perhaps make it able to move animatronically with intervals?
Just an idea

Perhaps sandbagger can help you.I think it could be as simple as using a servo to make R2D2's head rotate x degrees left/right with intervals, perhaps even add a sound trigger

yes George mabye a simple motor but would that mean electric going out to it or is battery an option? the sounds would be easy though.

cheers for that kylo appreciate that buddy ☺️

missed this pic out gun ends aint on as u can see i was holding back the r2d2 snaps till was more ready for moving x wing across a tiny bit to get last wing gun on and got myself mixed up which pics id added and hadnt there's so many lol

cheers guys that's part of the aim i came on here in 2017 and seen a speeder bike made i couldnt spare the asking money for it i think it was sold anyway and decided to make my own 10 weeks later i had ☺️.
so if i can help others to achieve what i have im happy with that.

behind view.
detailing to be added to very rear end later but winter put a stop to outside work a bit plus ive a starwars garden to create which is a mammoth task. so i can return to little parts of props and perfect anything that needs it a little later. ☺️

well got her moved a few feet away from the work shop enabling me to add the last wing gun and gun end too and shes finished for now anyway. ive bits to add to the base parts of the guns that attach to the wings and as i said before the very rear end of the body. plus at some point i will put some stuff inside the cockpit but yep im very very happy with that. not bad for being alone and using a standard quality drill and jigsaw then the painting and detailing all by hand.

theres a lot to be said for the old style way of doing things very rewarding. ☺️
