i got these pipes at a local junk yard for a couple of pounds i will measure the length i need for each one of the 4 exhaust pieces behind the intakes znd cut these 2 pipped into 4 soon.

another angle of pipes so u can get best idea of there size each exhaust pipe will work out around 3ft long approx give or take a couple inches which once sticking out the back of the x wing for part of them will add another foot to its length can't be bad

afternoon got another angle of it so far this one shows its length well i like it.

that 2 long pipes pics i showed recently are now halfed into 4 exhaust pieces for the rear of the x wing they also have there first coat of dove grey paint to match the ship 2nd coat to go on soon.

shes well covered this winter and the cover weighed down with a bunch of stuff lol

enormous thing to cover i bought this marquee tent for part of my starwars garden but its become my x wing cover very handy indeed

One pipe you see there has a rim round the bottom where the others don't but that's ok that will be the end that will go under one of the bottom wings out of sight attached underneath the wing
lol.
When ur very short of money and your local junk yard doesn't always have this size of pipes to give away or for cheap and you need to keep the pipes this length really for the look of it plus that end is going to be hidden under the bottom wing anyway it doesn't really matter.

ive got the last engine intake on now and one of the top wing guns on too one more wing gun to go far side.

shes a beauty eh that additions gives her a more balanced finished look eh.
