absolutely i was the same the iconic 2 i have to admit. i had a soft spot for the speeder bike also thats why i made it as my first build also. i also loved the scout walkers tie fighters and atats but the scout walker and atats aint so easy to make but i may give a scout walker a go yet perhaps a half scale. i did make a tie fighter as well a 7ftx7ft one its on here somewhere ☺

this was the blue i used to paint the top 2 greeblies at the rear end of the x wing u could really go one or 2 lighter and it would look great too.

great project ;)
thanks abe i still cant believe i began this from nothing no prior plan how id make it i just made a start from all bits of wood i had here to create a skeleton that was worthy. it turned out to be more than satisfactory it just somehow worked out.
once i seen it working that i had a seed of what could be i ordered wood locally and lined up paints more screws and more to move forward.

Keep that brain moving!

Idea: If you have a junk yard near year, why not check out what's there for all the little details & greeblies? Real world items add a LOT of life and they look cool! ;)

Keep going! Love the progress

thanks sofa king ☺. ye i do that there is a junk yard 2 miles from my house my push bike is broke just now its to far to walk there and back carrying stuff but i will sort this asap.
i get a good few things from there not just parts for builds but lie around parts too ie spares for ships or acting like broken parts etciit's for making my starwars garden im building towards. got a lot to do painting stuff, planting stuff, erecting stuff, its not just building in 2019 very exciting though.

i just recieved 2 lots of various materials for free from a local push bike shop thats shutting down very soon including a old mannequin from many decades ago which alone can cost £70-80 more being old id say i can add one of my starwars replica suits onto that later. they gave me a heap of pipes, fittings, mudguards, stands, wood and spokeless wheels i asked for i seen lying there they look handy lol. they seen my builds on local internet sites and newspapers and offered me the stuff to help me in future nice eh!

Thanks for sharing this build ! I love anything '80s Star Wars
One question though...where will you park the X-wing once finished? :D
