My Jack Skellington build

Finished painting the bow tie. Looked at a movie screenshot and tried to match the paint job as close as possible.

All that's left after this is to add the rare earth magnet and this part is finished.

That's a great idea, and one I had already considered.

I'm hoping to have Jack's head painted by the end of the week. Then I'll work on attaching the bike helmet inside and adding the black mesh fabric for the eyes.

Dang, how did I miss a Jack Skellington build thread? I absolutely LOVE Jack and the Nightmare Before Christmas (even got PumpkinPieKing on my school jersey). I did a Jack cosplay a couple of years ago and it was a blast, I had such a great time interacting with people and I know you will too. I tried to stay in character and it was weird telling people to "have a horrible day!"

Still plugging along. I switched to black automotive primer because it's easier to see imperfections and smooth them out with spot putty..

Should have just a couple of more coats of primer before I'm on to the final coat of white

Thanks for that and your continued comments and support. They mean a lot.
