My Hussar's Jacket

Are You Experienced enough to make another one? (Hendrix Style)

Excellent work. All by hand is even more impressive. I'll stick to my machine unless I'm forced to do handwork, although it may happen soon enough. I am currently working on an 1854 11th Hussars for my collection, among other things in the project list. I have to post one of my recent completions of a 17th Lancer, a much simpler build except for the cap. The Lance cap inserted in the picture was finished after the picture was taken. The one I'm wearing is over 30 years old and I made that one without very good references to work from. The new one is more accurate, based on a recent book that showed a complete tear down of the cap. All the ribbing on the new one is properly ribbed with cane in slots. The old one was just white corduroy. I also have to make the proper waist and shoulder belt.
