My first screen used props from the Lord of the Rings

I was finally able to get my first screen used props from one of my favorite movie series. The Lord of the Rings. I got a pair of orc greaves and the face plate for a horse. Now I cant find the face plate or the greaves in the movie, I didnt really expect to find the greaves since hundreds were made but the face plate seems really unique. The COA are signed by a Summers Taylor technical fabrication assistant to new line cinema. Anybody happen to know anything about him/her? I'm very happy with them and cant wait to display them in my Lord of the Rings themed room.

Yes they are metal, quite heavy too, the knee joint is also hinged. They had paint on them at some point the the rust is peeling it off, anybody have any tips on how to stop this process, or is it unavoidable?
