Ive decided for my first ever prop build to make the SN-9 WASP Revolver from the film Avatar. Im making it out of MDF and i drew my templates by hand and are roughly to scale as i used other fan made props to scale my design, I will update with pics soon. What Im making: Wasp - James Cameron's Avatar Wiki - Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana

    UPDATE:20/05/12
I have got the main templates done (barrel and receiver)
decided to use 1 inch thick MDF for the receiver and glue two peices together for the barrel.
Please note that I will cut off the un-even top

    UPDATE: 20/05/12
I have cut out the barrel and realized that my receiver template was a bit off so I will be re-drawing that and cutting it out this week.
-New receiver template made.(shown with MDF barrel).

    UPDATE: 25/05/12
-Cut out the receiver and grips
-I have started shaping the grips.
