My First Predator suit

Hi To All!
My name is André de Jong and i'm Dutch.

Well i am here around for a few days and always had plans to build a Pred suit.

I have seen alot of Predator suits here for idea's

On google found i a tutorial:

I will use this one a start. (Base)

So i start to collect materials

And i bought a "rambo" body and other stuff.

Where i live, i could't find plastic sheets and i have plans to make the Armor out of cardboard. (paper)
Most of you use latex but that is for my 2 diffelcult too use @ the moment.

You can also use fun foam (foamies) for your armor as well. I have worked with it alot. An its a less of a pain to work with then cardboard. I love foamies

I recieved this mask a while ago:

But i don't like that it is mainly black. I understand that it is made of latex what kind of paint can i use on it?
To give a other colour.

Well in my post before i didn't like the black predator halloween mask so i sprayed it silver.

Armor plates made of cardboard (Paper)
I made multuple layers and put plastic** on it.

** same plastic that is used for too re-enforced covers of books

The next items, i got them for free

I will use the "teddy" skin as a trophy. skinned of some kind of scary alien teddybear.
And i got 1 pair human feets and will clean them and cleu horror nails on it and respray them.

Free Leather is always welcome!

I use acryl paint.

And used brown and mix it with water to make the skin darker.

I would generally try to avoid using acrylic on anything that bends. Unless you mixed prosaide in with it. Otherwise your paint is going to crack an chip like old nail polish =S Otherwise not a bad paint up! =)

Interesting build bro! How could your dad almost throw that awesome deer skin away!?!?!? I would have cried!!! Alls I can think about when I look at it is how awesome that would be for a Saxon or Viking outfit! I used some skins on my pred suit man. Interested to see what you do with it.

Many things i got for free

Skull 3x 6 euro's
2 teddy skin 20 euro's
Skay (fake) leather 5 euro's
rambo body 12 euro's
halloween mask (from ebay) (helmet + shiping + import costs ) 110 euro's
predator hands (from ebay) 25 euro's
I ordered 20 euro's on Foam.
net 2 euro

18+20+5+12+110+25+20+2= 212 euro's (that is around 290 USD)

I forgot the paint ....... let say 20 euro's

I am afraid that it will become "crappy" ..... but it is my first try!

I am not like ...: Cool!! Predator suits!! I must register and go towards the shopping and WTB WTB WTB!!!!

Oke i have boughd predator hands for my second try.
