My first kit - Bandai 1/72 PG falcon

Hi everyone,

After watching tutorials and buying some supplies I finished my first model. Total time was probably in the 60 hour realm but should have probably been closer to 45 hours.

Learned a lot. What to do what not to do. Hopefully will be doing this build again sometime soon.

Up next is deagostini Falcon

Thank you everyone. Lots of mistakes in technique and process masked in a heavy weathering hand for sure.

Used Tamiya insignia white over the light grey primer. Did a sloppy clear gloss and used yellow/green/blue oils to warm it up. Then panel lining and scorching /rust with Tamiya weathering. Finally sealed with satin varnish

This is the first model kit that I’ve ever built.

I am a game developer with a background in digital and traditional art, so a lot of this made sense to me / wasn’t strictly new. Still would do it very different next time. Thank you!

Thank you very much! I didn’t discover RPF until after I was done, but luckily there are tons of resources out there, especially on YouTube, of talented people doing the same thing. So in many ways I don’t consider this to be particularly original
