Hi Larry,

yep some people love the pose, others don't so to each is own I guess lol! I personally didn't really get involved in this project until it was a done deal so there was nothing I could do either way. The hand is not actually attached to the helmet, so you could probably quite easily use some aves and customize the arm any way you like.

My next project I will be involved in from day 1 and will have complete control over the pose.

I think it looks freaking cool! If I wasn't such a P1 purist I would get this kit, but the only kits I collect are P1. :) The kit in and of itself is fantastic! I love the idea of the P2 getting smoked in the face by somethings ferocious, ripping off the Bio, and then wreaking havoc on all around him to exact some revenge...

The idea behind the concept is awesome...if only it was a P1 version...

Again, I love the pose - and the idea behind a pissed off and injured Predator...I'd hate to be the guy that dealt the blow~!

Would you also be interested in painting other kits? I have numerous Super Edge kits and a big Narin one, I haven't heard back from Joe and I don't want to flood him with requests. I'm going to go look for the 'Daisy' suit you're talking about.

Love the scale and the amount of detail in it

not crazy about the position of the arm as well
but couldn't you just cut it right above elbow and re-pose it ??

the it's such a small change to make to ...kitbash it a little and get a P2 disk for him to hold in the new position.

NO...am i wrong ...am i wrong?

i think that would be an easy fix for even the mid level model builder

but that just my .02

I think the kit is ******* sweet!! But after much thought have come to the decision that the "hand on face" is a bad idea. Now, this is just my opinion, and in no way reflects on Narins skills. Now, if he were to rear his head up at his "attacker," with crushed helmet and all, that might work. With the "hand on face" look, you're covering up 2 of his most identifiable assets.. the helmet, and the face. And to me that's what builders look for... either a spot on helmet, or a face sculpt.

That, and the fact I can't get over his feet and hands. They are way too AVP influenced.

Just my .02 cents.
 
Well, speaking as a kit collector whose seen/held/bought just about every Pred kit, I have to give this kit HUGE props.

Seriously, as much as I love Pred kits, they've tended to get a bit stagnant in the "pose" department.

Even though the mask/face is partially covered in this kit, it translates such "motion" and "feeling" that it really stands out.

I, for one, applaud ya Dan for putting this bad boy out. I think when people start seeing painted pics, they're gonna be kicking themselves. :)
 
this kit is a 10.not because of action,but moreso of feeling.u ever see the maniacal look to an opponent when u swing on them,connect and nothing happens but a loose tooth and spitting blood?....yep,this is it.he feels no pain,but only retribution.

I'm glad I got my pre-order in, can't wait for this to arrive...I have to start making room now so I can send him out for assembly and paint up sooner than later.
 
I might have to spring for one of these after all!
You can see a lot more of the face on the painted pics.
