My first blaster build, the SE-14R

I never got a chance to post this here so here we go. Ths has been a project that was finished but I recently went back to improve it a bit. It all started when I discovered that there really weren't many producers of my favorite blaster, the SE-14R. Those that did produce them had them in all resin and were a bit too pricey for my liking. Basically I went and took apart the Hasbro E-11 and turned it into a "working" blaster build. I'm pretty happy with the results and I really learned a lot from it and I plan on making a few of these in the future. Right now I am working on a customized SE-14. Anyways here are some pics from my build and it's many changes.

And now the tweaked and reworked new version:

Still not perfect, but I am happy with it. Still learning and I am optimistic my future ones will turn out even better.

Not bad for a first try. Keep up the good work and perhaps one day you will give Matsu a run for his money, maybe ;)

I forgot I made this thread and never checked in again. Guess I'll update it! So I've built quite a few of these since my first one. Mor eimportantly I've learned so much in my time. They may not be the prettiest, but I think I've done pretty well for someone with no experience and working with bondo, wood, spare plastic, and a dremmel. I still have plenty to learn but these are my first steps. Anyways here are some newer pics of my subsequent builds.
