So I finally caved in and decided to set up a display for one of my hoverboard props.
Taking inspiration from Clock88’s clever display idea. I decided to do the same approach but, I will be adding some faux spider bushes in the background to match the first part of the sequence from the hoverboard scene. (Still waiting on the faux plants to come in). So i’m really going to dress up this display.
For the stand itself its just a small round clear acrylic display stand used for watches and jewelry. (Amazon purchase).
I added the black loop-side velcro bit for the top of the acrylic plate to complete the stand.
This will literally use this entire shelf space, so Cap’s shield and x-men props will be relocated to our new Ikea shelves coming soon.
Hopefully soon i’ll update these pictures with the display fully dressed and completed.
These below are other Hoverboards i’ve built recently. Both wood and foam versions are together in this photo. Bet you can’t tell them apart!
