hi , i just finished 2 costumes 1 tusken raider for me and a jawa for my son
just wanna know what everybody thinks about them , i am weathering the tusken raider now so it will have a better look ,

Those both look fantastic! I especially like the weapons. The robe does need some weathering, be sure to post pics again when thats done

Not bad. However, the first thing I noticed was that the gloves look way too white and clean. Probably would look better if you dirtied them up a bit.

As everybody has stated tusken needs some weathering, jawa looks great.

Aside from my TK being shiny and clean, my other 2 a ust and kst are both weathered. Means i dont have to worry about keeping it clean

my friend and myself are building a tusken helmet each and was wondering how did you get the mouth leather folds done / where did you start?

and what did you use for meshing behind the cover of the mouth and eyes?

for the inner side of the mouth , i first folded the lambskin in form to look how the result will be. then i used goop and started from the bottom of the mouth piece and worked my way round but only glued the inner part . u can fold and glue the end of the lambskin so you can't see where it ends because you have many folds in it. then you can arrange the outer part and glue it.
the mesh i used for the eyes and mouth comes from an old raincoat , you also see it often in sportswear . hope that this info can help you

Excellent job on both of those! You must be a really cool dad; when I was a kid, mine just bought me some Ben Cooper costumes...
