My finished Concept Vader

Until I can take some better pictures lit nicer, here he is, and one with his brothers.

I still want to install amber lenses, hopefully I can get a set, the black ones are taped in temporarily.

I really wish George had given us a different mask like this in ROTS... fully realized in 3D and painted the movie colors, it stands out even cooler than the movie ones we're already familiar with.

It is indeed wearable... I just need to get some black foam padding for the internal liner. I cut out strap slots also in the back like on a regular Vader helmet.

The sanding and paint recoats to get this baby smooth were a ***** but I'm really happy with how it turned out. I think I did 6 or 7 coats of semi-gloss black automobile paint, and the highlights are gunmetal.

I also rebuilt the mouth vent since I screwed up trying to cut out the original sculpt, I think I managed to match it pretty well:
