My Captain America Build

Hello. Still new here, but thought i would share my current info. I have been hired to be Captain America at the Premier at one of our local movie theatre, based on my first Cap outfit. So now I am reworking several things to be even better.

I am going with the original Comic style Costume, as that is what is true to my heart. So the first thing i had to fix was the Mask. So here is my New mask. (hope this posts right)

So what i am working on now is the boot cuffs. That i have figured out, just gotta do it. Ordered a pair of gloves I think will set it off better than those felt ones. And been looking for the right shield.

I found that Tan one that you can get from China i think but it is a paypal only and i havent set that up yet. Suppose i should get with the times and do it.

I am kind of hoping for the Movie Replica shield to come out soon and buy that!

I noticed you're not wearing the black belt that cap wears or briefs. Even if you bought the suit, you might consider contacting one of the usual vendors (cosfun.com, spandex man, milanoo) and get them to make some briefs with belt loops for you. Heck you could even buy some briefs locally, then buy some fabric that matches at your local fabric store...take it to a tailor and have them use the briefs as the pattern.

I am kind of hoping for the Movie Replica shield to come out soon and buy that!

you can always try making one, i'm currently peping one using Bimmers cap shield file. the link to my build is in my signature if you want to check it out. its slowish but fun and the only amount of time you have to wait is how long it takes you to make it!

I actually have a spandex brief on in my full pic, but i think it is too tight lol. but for the belt i have a new Utility belt like he wears in various formats. Will post a pic when i have it all put together...maybe this weekend.

Actually having my airbrush guy work on a more "Muscular Cartoonish" version to see how it looks too.

Well now that i have my first costume complete, i am going to start working on 2 things.

first i am having my airbrush guy start a whole new Traditional look with cleaner paint. Then when it is done i am putting it on and having him airbrush more of a comic style muscular shadowing to it. Will post when it is done.

2nd i am going to start working on this Costume variant because i really like it.
