Here's the latest piece in my collection.
It's a solid bronze Goonies Copperbones key and display, produced by someone here who's usually working on saber parts.
The acrylic display is frosted, and is a substantial 5mm thick, featuring four clear soft plastic feet.
I tinkered the plaque together in photoshop, which is printed on metal and stuck to the acrylic.
The plaque measures 110mm X 60mm.
The bronze key itself is around 10.5mm thick and very heavy. I don't have scales so I can't tell you exacly how much it weighs.
It sits on two aluminium rods, screwed into the acrylic from the back.
Here's a portrait shot - no flash, just the natural light of the kitchen.
I'm really pleased with this piece - the detail's superb and the display presents it nicely.
When it arrived it was polished to a mirror shine - so I've just handled it, allowing my greasy mits to dull it down a little.
I guess these will be available at some point - this is a kinda proto, passed on to me for drawing up the plaque and helping out with other stuff.
My 9 year old son loves The Goonies, so it now sits in his bedroom, taking pride of place!
Thanks Russ! :thumbsup
