My bio pepakura model

this is my model of a bio using a pepakura file then coated with resin and fiberglassed on inside

and then added some mesh and paint effects just waiting on the lasers to come so i can put them in

Got to say this has come out really well. Hard to believe it started as a Pepakura file.
Metal finish looks particularly good.

Looks great! I may have to give it a shot. What did you use to get the crackly looking metal finish?

i used a filler primer that reacts with the resin that makes the crackle then go over it with black plastikote

i just made it using card and did it by eye free hand then hot glued it on the side and gave it a couple of coats of resin

i got lasers from here super cheap http://www.bestofferbuy.com/6mm-5ma-red-la...45v-p-7300.html

and i got a battery box the take 3 AAA with a built in switch from ebay and it works a treat

I must say this is the sickest way of making a bio and the first that I have seen someone giving this a try. Are the lasers the very powerful kind you know the 650nm?

how would i go about scaling this? cuz for an mc pep i would subtract my height from 7 feet but i dont know about a pred
