I'm totally chuffed. I FINALLY found a way to display my cowl in a decent way. It just looked all empty and weird just sitting empty on a post, and even WORSE sitting on one of those styrofoam wig-heads. I found this AMAZING Christian Bale head scuplt done by Bob Dullam and produced by "Dave". It looks SLAMMIN' now! What do you guys think? (Sorry for the poor cell-phone pics. I'll try to get some better ones up later.)

Not so bad, will you paint it ?

"Not so bad"? I think Bob Dullam did an AMAZING job of sculpting Bale. I wish I could sculpt........(sigh)

No, I like the white for a display, although if someone wanted to, they could easily put acrylic eyes in it and paint it to look more "life-like".

Of course i was joking :lol, it's a really good work, i hope one day be able too to sculpt things like this...:rolleyes

The sculpt is great, but you def. need to paint it to give it life.

I would agree with you if I wanted it to look more life-like, but as a stand to display my cowl, I think that making the Bale sculpt more life-like would detract from the cowl. I like it better in white, but YOU can certainly make one up to be as life-like as you wish. :)

I agree the sculpt is great, but the stark white color takes away from the cowl.

Maybe paint the head an all over solid color, like a dark gray or silver or gunmetal.

Dude, you're like the guy who buys a classic antique frame for a velvet Elvis painting.

Bust=Greatness.
Cowl=Ehhh.

Much thanks all. I sculpted the Bale head while watching 3:10 to Yuma. Good movie, and a lot of the lighting showed his bone struct. nicely. I also oversized this(although I have no idea how big his actually head is), for use in sculpting a TDK mask ran in foam latex, in order to compensate for the shrinkage of foam.
