So a couple of weeks ago this picture was "leaked" off of the set of the new S.H.I.E.L.D. TV show.

Sure enough, our fellow RPF'ers replicated this into vector formats in no time.

So I had my go at replicating it with only materials I had at hand.

Didn't come out so great. So I went ahead and ordered Vinyl in the correct color, and 3mm Sintra PVC foam board in what I think to be a decent size, 11"x14".

I also went ahead and redid the graphics from scratch. I like the satisfaction of having done everything myself from scratch; so i did the usual what the font searches and came up with this version.

I think I got it matched up pretty well. The colors look about right and I think the sign ratio is pretty spot on. Right now it's hanging above the entrance to my warehouse. :)

Lemme know what you all think. Thanks guys! :thumbsup

I found a great HD S.H.I.E.L.D. graphic on the net and went to town on it. I'd apologize for the messy area, but I can't remember the last time I saw it clean! :lol

Lemme know what you guys think!

I adore what you have done! Any chance of letting us know where you got the Shield logo from? I cant find the one you use and would love to put a copy up behind my desk at work (yes, I do work in I.T)!

Oh man, that's amazing. I'm always impressed when something like this is recreated.

If I have to add some constructive criticism, the eagle claws look a little chunky, and the font of the codes for the ID, warning, and clearance look a little off. But everything else looks spot on perfect :thumbsup

Love it! Looks great, Andrew :thumbsup
Thanks man!

I love the sign made with what was available and the accurate one is perfect. :cool
Thanks, I appreciate it!

Excellent work, it looks spot on.
Thanks!

Yea, on second glance they do look a little chunky. It's funny, I scoured all over for the 4 clawed eagle and wasn't having much luck. I settled for what you see and then a couple of hours later, bam! I found that gorgeous wallpaper S.H.I.E.L.D. crest. I think the ID area is a little off because I used bold, and the underlines are a tad thicker than the original. No problem though, easy fix. :thumbsup

I really like your signs. I might have to see where I can put one or two of those in my theater. I'm in the process of creating a display area for Avengers memorabilia in my home theater. I made this illuminated S.H.I.E.L.D. logo last weekend from foam core, craft foam, plexiglass and LEDs. It's around 19" in diameter. The area looks rough right now, as I just got started.

@bugman:
That looks really cool! Love the glowing effect you gave it!

I did some more adjusting of the eagle, just need to tweak the head portion a bit but I think we're getting there.

Hello, your plaques look amazing! I was wondering, are you selling sets of the two? I'd love to get a set in my dorm! Thanks C: Great work!
