My 2nd foam Bane mask WIP DONE!!!!!!

I took an obital tape (or myo tape or just plain tailor tape will work as well).
I measured around my head and around the nose then divided it by two.

Then I resized the image using a graphic program (paint.net, gimp, photoshop, coreldraw etc. I use gimp so instructions are for gimp)
Make sure you have "maintain ratio" feature enabled so when you resize the width the height resizes accordingly (vice versa)
You may have to do it a couple of times before it's right.

Print it out and put it together using masking tape to make sure it fits.
Then cut it out in the foam.

As for printing, the image will span across at least four pages (for me it did).
You will have set your printer settings to no borders and to not fit to page.

Then what you do is resize the grid within gimp. Then make the pieces for the image.

Or once you have the size you want you can goto a printing shop (like staples) and get it printed out in one sheet

Good luck

Not sure how to scale it but this will cost you less ink ;)
Thank you. :) Feel free to use the first picture as reference for template. I dont know how to make a printable one. hehe. If ever you make the mask, please post some pics here. I just like seeing you guys work and also learn something from you.

Enjoy making it. :)

Starting on mine, Halloween parties start in about 2, 2 1/2 weeks hopefully I can get a decent one. Bookmarked this and will be using as reference. This is definitely the best source out there, good job!

Thanks to the OP and the people who modded the template. Started scaling in Paint at 250%, way too big. This picture is of a 200% scale, going to try a 180% and see if it fits better.

Good Job,
But if I could make a suggestion though. Print out on and put it together/try it on, on paper first.
Saves a lot of time

Thanks, I definitely will with the next mask. I only had half of it cut out of paper and was too lazy to cut out the other half. I also might tape some of the template pieces together so there are not as many pieces. Ill post here when I get to it. Working on a MKII Iron Man bucket, Arkham City Batman cowl and Anubis helmet for my dog alongside this project.
