how on earth did you get foam so detailed? rounded corners, shapes etc. it looks impossible

Thank you very much. Yup. They are PVC. I found them in the garbage. hehe. i dont know the diameter. First i made a cut out of foam for the size of the pipes that im going to need for the mask. its like a U shape or how the shape of those pipes are suppose to be. Then i cut it in to 3 and trace it onto the pipes then stick them together. I cut them with just a cutter. I just press the cutter hard and it will cut fine. If not, i'd sand it a bit. I hope you get the idea.
I love your mask man! I'm making one myself through a combination of bondo, foam and spare parts. Bit of a mess but hopefully it'll look okay! Here's the last progress pic I took
I was wondering if you could explain the details of how you made the mouth pipes? They look like pvc...if so what diameter, how did you go about cutting/bending/ribbing them etc? Yours are among the closest I've seen to the real mask

i stand by my word, as for general building i think its by far the easiest. i just didnt know that one could modify foam in this way

Ah cool. I've had to resort to cheap rubber pipes so mine will be finished in time, but I'm going to redo the pipes after halloween following your method! Love how the mask turned out man, congrats

Aryt. Thank you. I made another bane mask pattern I think its a bit closer to the movie mask. Im going to make one again. I'll make another thread soon to share the patterns methods also. By the way,can you post your bane mask pics?

Here's my big question: Are you going to keep it pristine, or dirty it up a bit? it's so clean I'd hate for it to be messed up, but somehow it looks off being so clean.

For tomorrows party? Pristine. When i finish the vest,i'll mess it up a bit. Or ill just make a new one with the new and more accurate pattern i've made. I made one today.
