Little secret........Walking home from elementary school, This was the very first costume I looked down at myself and imagined was on me! No joke, and it felt great!

the adam west batman was also my first exposure to TV superheroes, at least to live action batman, and the entire campiness went over my head. to me, it was all dead serious and batman and robin were the *****.

so many days running around the house with a towel pinned around my neck.

never forget having the IDEAL Batman playset...the CORGI batmobile...the CAPTAIN ACTION Batman & Robin outfits...and the halloween Batman costume which was such a HUGE disappointment to me because the Bat emblem had the words "BATMAN" written inside the bat. i would have given ANYTHING to have a costume that looked like Adam West's costume.

and it isn't until this year, some 40 years later, that they are FINALLY releasing licensed toys of the Adam West Batman...can't wait.
