My 11th Doctor Who Costume

Well after finishing my 10 (though now i have the blue magnoli fabric i will begin again) I decided to regenerate. The river island boots have yet to come in but i couldnt wait to take some shots

The braces (hidden in these pics), wig, and jacket are from the bay. The shirt is a PS reissue. The bow-tie from one of the sites on the helpful costume breakdown, and the pants were from JC Penny's

I've been working on identifying the fez FOREVER. I can't even find one that matches the shape, size, and style, and there's no way of knowing what brand it is.

His jacket isn't perfectly accurate, so why should the fez be? The costume shop here locally has two different kinds of fezzes for under $5. I've got one sitting on my lamp for my 11th Doctor.

My point being, it's far from the most important part of the costume. He can fudge and be fine.

Very true. IDK. I feel like the fez just HAS to be right for me, but then, I'm the one trying to find EXACTLY the right combination of action figures to have a perfectly-in-scale team of Autobots on my desk.

On the subject of the costume itself: It looks great! It's definitely not one of the easier costumes to more-or-less replicate (let alone EXACTLY replicate), and you've done an excellent job!

I have no idea why everyone wears the fez. He only wore it for about 5 minutes and he looked like a prize pillock in it.

This is a great costume, definitely post shots of your pants/shoes when the shoes come in. I do prefer your Ten though

Well, I hear the Fez will be making a return next season. Hopefully when it does show up it's only for a few minutes each time, it was fun but he looked like a tool in it.

I can't wait to see your new Ten suit in the woven fabric. I plan to get some of that same fabric after Christmas. Definitely looking forward to seeing any suits in either of those fabrics.

What brand tweed is that? Looks pretty good in color and shape. Does it have a herringbone pattern? The only close ones I've seen in color and shape, seem to always be herringbone. Also, how are you liking the PS re-issue?

I liked the fez for what it was, a funny gag. It's too bad he didn't wear it with the blue outfit, because it would be a fun accessory to wear briefly at cons but I'm only putting together the blue one myself.

EDIT: Statement retracted, I was wrong, the reissue pattern is completely different from the original. Sorry.

I wore the Fez with my blue outfit, and everyone loved it. I dont think anyone noticed the discrepency, and if they did, they didnt comment.

Short Version: Fezzes are Cool.

And On Topic: you're Eleven looks great. Although we cant see the braces or pants. When the boots come in, you really must do a full body shot. lols.

Still no boots, but they are traversing the pond. Will update as I get them.

I am really happy with the jacket, especially since the auction pictures werent the greatest.

Well I got back from vacation and lo and behold my boots came in! So I had to take some shots...although admittedly hastily.

I am actually wearing different jeans in these, they are more of a grey than black. Not quite sure yet how i feel about them.
