yea superman is looking kinda :confused:confused:sick and batman :confused :confused:lol Looks like batman is doing no.2 standing up and it wont come out!!! :lol

I don't know what to say. Batman looks like he has hemmaroids, and Superman went anorexic.

What can I say but AWFUL! Those are not the original outfits. I woul dventure to say they are not acurate copies as well. Tacky comes to mind....

Why do you say this? They look like the originals to me.

Why? Ok let's go over Batman....the sculpts are all wrong. That Batman costume has been around a long time and there are many pics of it around. That looks nothing like it. The scale is off, the sculpt is wrong in so many places. The catwoman looks brand new. And if you take a look at screen grabs from the movie you will see how different stitching is. Superman. I doubt with the value of a real reeves suit that they would stick it in some place like that to begin with (that goes for all of these). Believe me these are not the real costumes, just some (maybe) liscensed crap the studio puts out for this kind of thing.

I am sorry no one likes the display.
The costumes are originals..believe it or not.
I was just trying to add something of interest..
my bad.

Hey, don't take it personally (unless it's your stuff on display!)

Nobody was saying YOU shouldn't have posted the pics, but we're just doing what we do ;)

It looked like they had some original props (or good replicas) of one of the rocket-launching penguins from "Batman Returns" and Two-Face's timer from "Batman Forever", but the costumes, especially Batman do seem pretty iffy. :)

In the pics you have, can you read the legend on the placards?

The Crew that set up the display is sending a book with the info on the pieces.
I will let you know what i find out.
The Batman suit, unfortunately is falling apart. It probably wasn't a "Hero" suit, but maybe a back-up, worn by Keaton during long shots, fights?
Just my guess.

Well, i guess I did take it personally.
I know the museum crew had less than a week to set up an entire museum. They worked long hours, under ridiculous conditions.
The costumes, I thought, were displayed well. Has anyone considered the fact that if an exact likeness was used, then Royalties might come into play. There is no charge for this museum, so no money is being made.
One rather upsetting story I was told by a crew member, was that the Reeve Superman suit was thrown in the back of a pickup truck from the last place it was on display. It arrived back at the warehouse dirty, and torn. $250,000 rolling around in the back of someones truck. Now that's shameful.
