Purchased this resin-cast jeweled scarab from the 1999 version of "the Mummy" off of Etsy, and gave it a proper paint job (major thanks to Macorrie on here for his amazing resin work in making these)!

It started out purely to experiment with what kind of color I wanted, but surprisingly Office Depot-brand metallic felt markers worked perfectly. Used them to add the color, and dry-brushed some various acrylic browns to weather it. Sprayed the whole thing with some matte clear coat to seal it!

I worked for Office Depot for 28 years. But, am currently working at CVS. Funny hearing their name again. Love the paint job!
