MR Star Trek TOS Communicator functions?

I can't remember, does the moire pattern on the communicator move when you have it on??

If so, mine is not functioning. Any ideas on a fix or anyone who can fix it for a fair price?

i have done repairs on MR comms and phasers for board members , ususaly it is from crappy soldering or in the moire case too thick of grease hard in the gearbox.

I used to have the phaser, communicator and tricorder. I ended up selling them as I was so disgusted with MR when I tried to get the phaser repaired when it stopped functioning. I was even willing to pay for repairs. Yest the moire is supposed to spin when you open it. Good luck getting it repaired.

I'm sure I can repair it. I've improved the MR Phaser problem when it gave me problems and hasn't repeated since. Getting it apart without damaging it was the real challenge. PM me if you want to talk.
