Here is a speeder rework I just completed. It was converted to Rouge2 with added fiber optic lighting in the cockpit, open air brake and figures.

Nice work, especially on the lighting - that couldn't have been too easy.

You had to scratch-build the airbrake interior too?

Thanks, the lighting wasn't so bad to do. There is quite a bit of room on both sides of the cockpit for led's, wires, and optics. The only tough spot is the upper panels to the left and right of the gunner. The panel is only about 1/16" thick and right up against the canopy. It also happens to have most of the optics running up there. Tight fit!

The air brake and door had to be scratched as the part is almost a solid block of resin. That was fun LOL.

Matt! Your work on this has been SUPREME!!! What an AWESOME BEASTIE you have made it into! :D

Excellent work my friend! (y)cool:thumbsup

Thanks everyone.

The figures excluding the head where sculpted. The head started life as a MacFarlane figure but was heavily modified.

Thanks, I used mostly Tamiya paints blended, I'll have to doudle check which ones they where again.

How'd you get it apart so cleanly?

Very carefully LOL. Actually I managed to get the whole thing apart without breaking anything, not one part. I was very happy.

I got my snowspeeder commission today and had started on it, so far the only thing i broke were a few chips around the rear of the cock pit, i scribed around where the hinges were and then drilled a brass pin in for the hinge to work on the canopy, that air brake will be the real fun part!

But like i said Matt you did a smashing great job on her and i hope this one will be as good if im licky!

Thanks,

The scale is kind of funny but bounces around 1:12. No molds on this one excluding the helmet. I was going to cast both bodies but then the figures looked to much alike so I sculpted the gunner as will. The fun part was squeezing them in without the monkey man look of the old AMT kit. You cant tell with them in place just how much is missing of the legs and lower torso.
