Mr Giggles-- PAINT DONE! post #148

Daman - You're doing a hell of a job on this. I really like the revisions; I wasn't feeling it at first.

Nicole - Totally saw the evil giggle from Day 1. Really like the drawing and it's a great name! PS: Subconciously; you were close. Weird, is the exception of the rule. Immediate, again close, but no cigar.

Seriously, though, lovin' the progress!

once again, thanks everyone. i am in my work week so i won't be able to work on it some more until after wed.
and yes i will post more pics. that is when there is more work to show.. o_O

Wow, finally saw Mr. Giggles WIP! Looking good Daman, he looks meaner in your sculpt which is great. I'll be checking on the progress of you work. Cheers!

Yep, that's my Giggle all right! :)

It's really taking shape now, great work you have done on it. You could make the chin "softer" on the sides (where the chin and cheek meet) so the step isnt as steep as of now. The sides of the dome is a bit off, but as you said, your not done with symmetry yet. Cant think of anything more, you have done a great job. He looks so cool!!

i see what you are saying. i do overdo the shapes abit to help me see em. i also want to bring down the bumps that come off the brows onto the crown.
once i have the shapes it's easier to just scrape em down then to try to add clay to get it right.
cheers
thanks for the crits Nicole

don't know if i said it already but bad-ass buddy

thanks man!

i made the armature off of one of my halfmasks. using plaster strips.
i will cast it as soon as i am happy with the sculpt... not sure when that will be. every time a take a pic i see something i want to fix.

Looks realy nice! i like how its coming together, have you ever considered buring some ribbed conduit into the clay to make those little ridgy sections? But fantastic progress!
