I'm sure everyone who's getting a falcon and probably many who aren't would buy one. It would be great if you could check with MR and see if making this available would be alright.

Well,.. I am a bit upset.
On the 22, I picked up my FORD Falcon from DHL. It had been sitting in their warehouse for 3 days and they told me they were not going to deliver it before Xmas even though it had been shipped on December 15 and was due for stated delivery that day. Keep in mind that it requires a signature and someone MUST be there to accept it. I told them I would pick it up myself and did so. When I got there,.. I found their warehouse empty with the exception of a few boxes and my Falcon. And even then they weren't going to deliver it because they stated they had too much to deliver in their warehouse.. Oh well,..spilt milk I guess.
Now on to the problem...
So,.. when I get home, I placed it on the display,... turned it on and off about 6 times that evening to just stare at it lit up. EVERYTHING was perfect. I then left it alone....nobody touched it after me.
Yesterday...the 25... I turned it on to show my Father-in-Law my new prize,... and... one of the madable lights is out... :eek What could have happened? On, Off, Out?..
I am so pleased with the paint job I received that I hesitate on sending it back to MR for replacement. The last time I did that I didn't see the replacement for nearly 2 months..
Anyway,.. being that there have been soooooo many pics shot of the beastie by others, I decided to just show how big the box actually is and the natural light shot of the top of my Falcon in it's styrofoam container. These were resized and made web-ready for quick loading purpose and thus have lost some detail,.. but you get the picture.
So you understand the size of this beastie,.. I am a 6 foot, 300 pound man and stood next to the box for comparison. In these pics,.. it sits in the rear of my Daughter's Chevy Avalance truck.
Please excuse my "look"...LOL... going into the Holiday Season I haven't been getting much sleep. :rolleyes

Those are LED's on the front and maybe a slight finger tap on the unlit one might work. Typically LED's do not burn out.

Kurt, I hope MR sees this thread and weighs in with a solution for you. You might want to start a new thread, to keep it more visible...

I did try tapping on it and still nothing... and... I am definitely NOT going to open it up...LOL :lol . Can you imagine ME opening up a fine piece like that?.. LOL :lol ...Oh My... :eek
I sent an email out last night to my MR contact who promptly replied today. MR is being very gracious and is offering to provide a replcement if I choose to do so. I am not certain what happen's to the plaque at that point, but have inquired once again.
Now,.. I am currently battling myself with what to do?. Keep the piece I have with the awesome paint job (or at least very suitable to my taste), but with a lighting problem? .... OR... Get a new one that I will not be able to see and judge paint quality until it arrives. Only then it will be too late. I have inquired and am waiting for a reply to the question of if I will be able to keep this unit until a replacement arrives if I choose to go that direction.
Bottom line is that MR is working with me so far,..graciously. I will keep you all updated. Since it hasn't come up before now..with my number... I believe this is probably not a wide spread problem, but just my luck of the draw.
BTW... I ended up with FORD Edition # 264.
