please tell me is doesn't have the old holes visible.

Otherwise, I'll agree it's sharp, love that plaque/signature.

It has the holes.. :unsure

Anyone going to try to weather one? I still think I'll try to do it the old fashioned way...I think a real old Graflex has the character this saber needs. Having said that, if my whole collection was pristine, I'd take it...great saber.

Are the bolts idealized, or are they all asymmetrical? I want weathered, but I couldn't bear the wonky bolts. Personal preference.

If you are asking whether the bolts are placed asymmetrically on the saber then they are (the three on top are symmetrical, the others are placed asymmetrically). If you are asking if they are screwed in wonky then they aren't.

I've had my SE for a few days now and I love what MR have done with this saber. Sure it's idealized, and it's not weathered, but it holds the essence of the saber for me. I'm also surprised that on display it's probably the most striking Vader saber (in a good way - not because it's ugly). The ESB Vader means more to be because of a connection I have to ESB, but this one gives it a run for its money.

Very glad I got this one :D

Cool, I have an LE ordered. I had gotten a note last month that they would start shipping the Start of January, but never heard anything more. With all the Fanfair over the Enterprise and Falcon, I thought this may have been pushed back, good to know some people have received theirs, and mine should be coming in the next little while.

I know some people see it as the least of the Vader sabers but I always liked this the most.I love how it stands out from the rest of his sabers with the actual heritage of the screen-prop as well.It just looks like the saber of a dark warrior to me.Brutal and functional.
